French Picnic Lilacs is my ode to quiet moments in the garden—the kind where time slows down, tea is still warm, and the scent of lilacs fills the air. I imagined this bouquet gathered from a nearby hillside, placed with love in a tall vase that catches the light just right. The soft folds of the tablecloth, the pop of blue from the napkin, and the dappled shadows all come together to create a dreamy, peaceful scene—like a memory from a long afternoon in Provence. I wanted the flowers to feel abundant and joyful, spilling over with color and life, the way lilacs always seem to do.
